The fact is that the majority of our thoughts and actions are on autopilot. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing either. Our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions carry us through our lives so we don’t have to stop and think about it every time we wipe our ass or start a car.

If you are trying to learn a new language, then you will not get all the language. If you are trying to keep your job, then you will probably do all the work.
If your goal is to lose weight, then you need to be very careful, but not too careful. You will have to be careful because your goal will not be to be the guy who is actually doing something, but that is not going to help you.
