Sweet Ads Webcast.com is one of the many websites that have popped up recently that share insights and tips on a variety of topics. It gives you the latest and greatest in online marketing and advertising.
A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to receive a sweet e-mail from Sweet Ads. They were kind enough to send me a promo code to use for a $30 gift card. When you use this code, it will give you access to their blog and webinar series that they publish on a variety of topics.
I don’t really know any of the sites that you refer to in your e-mail, but the one that I like is The Duct Tape Marketing Show. They have a really good take on the ins-and-outs of online advertising and marketing. They are a great resource and definitely worth checking out.
The Duct Tape Marketing Show is a weekly podcast about advertising and marketing. They also have a great podcast called “Great Ideas For Small Businesses”. I love that podcast too. They’ve written more than a couple books (or maybe I should say “books”) on these topics. I recommend them just be sure to subscribe to their email list and take advantage of the free download.
This is a great resource for small business owners though it may not be for you. I would definitely recommend listening to at least a portion of it.
This is an ad-free podcast, but there are some ads in the show. I’ve seen them on TV or on the radio. It’s a bit distracting when there are ads, but it’s not that bad.
It’s kind of hard to listen to ads on your own when they’re right in front of you. I would recommend trying to turn them off or at least put them off so you can hear the audio. My only recommendation is to subscribe to the email list so you get the benefit of the ads. If you don’t subscribe to the email list, it will default to a paid podcast.
After the fact, its also hard to listen to it if you dont get it. Its just a good place to listen.
The only thing you really need to do to listen to the ad-free podcast is to subscribe to the email list. You can also use the search box to find podcasts with the appropriate topic or to search for podcasts by keywords.
The ads are pretty annoying though. The only time I even knew they were there was when I was listening to the audio and found myself staring at them with a little ‘darn’ in my head.
