Radheit has been a bit quiet in the etsy store lately. I’ve noticed that the store has a lot of people who are not participating in the community and they are all complaining about it. It’s so frustrating for everyone. I’ve been reading through the etsy thread, and it has me seriously thinking about the importance of community. I want to see more people make a commitment to participate in the community and share what they do.
I had a friend who was a member of the Etsy community who is a very active member, and he came up with a whole new concept for community. He says that the new community is about getting some people involved in the community and having fun. It’s not just about talking to others who are interested.
So Etsy is an idea? A community, or a place to work, or a place to visit. If you have a community you want to create there, make a commitment to it.
