I can just see it now: an advertisement for the latest new product that is, in fact, a person. A person who needs to be branded in a specific way in order to make people buy that product. It’s like saying “I’m not a cartoon, and I’m not my father’s daughter, but I know who I am.” Even if you aren’t a cartoon, a person, you are still a person.
Its like branding a person with a name. There are countless people out there who are famous for one reason or another. Just because you happen to know one of these people, you know you are the same person. If you meet another person, you know you are the same person. Everyone has a name for us, but we all know there is more to us than that. There is a person inside of us who we recognize even though we cant see it.
The idea behind individual branding is to find a way to identify people by the things that make them unique and distinct. Think of it as the color of your hair, the way you wear your shirt, the color of your eyes, or the way you walk or talk. I don’t think people really realize how much individuality is part of how we identify ourselves. This is especially true for social media users.
There are a number of factors that make us more “individualized” than others. We have our unique strengths and weaknesses, we don’t use the same words when we speak, we are able to see things differently than other people, we have different personalities, and so on. All of these factors contribute to our uniqueness and individuality, which is why it is important that we take the time to understand who we are and who we want to be that is unique and distinct.
It is important to keep in mind that we are human beings, not automatons. We can all make mistakes. We can all make mistakes and have failed. But when we fail, we have to learn from that failure and improve to show that we are not what we used to be, and we can learn from every failure.
In this day and age, it seems like we are constantly bombarded with the message that our lives are all about ourselves. As a result, we are constantly taking on a “selfish identity” and taking the focus off of our own lives and onto other people. We have to remember that we are not on autopilot and that we have the power to change how we live our lives. Yes, we can make a bad decision.
