RadheI’m sitting on the patio of my house, enjoying the sunshine and the breeze, and reflecting on the past few weeks. I’ve thought about it quite a bit, but I’ve also been considering what I want to get out of the experience. I found the following tweet pretty interesting.
This is the first time Ive ever seen a poll on twitter from someone else, so I hope it’s interesting.
The first thing you should know about the poll is that it’s still a real poll. So you can go to twitter and vote. I was in the middle of an internet firestorm when I found out that I had been the one to vote and, well, I was pissed. I mean, I don’t blame anyone for being pissed, but I think it’s a bit of a shame that people don’t feel more comfortable voting on things they’ve never heard of before.
One of the things Ive learned about Twitter is that you should never assume any vote is a “yes” or “no.” If you feel like voting, then go ahead. If not, then don’t.
Sure enough, I used to think that my vote was a no, but I realized that I was not alone. There is a lot of misinformation and misinformation is a big part of a lot of our conversations on Twitter. I had a couple conversations with people who were obviously lying, and I realized that even with the truth, it would still be a mistake to assume that a particular person voted a certain way.
We are, after all, not the only people who write in to ask how to see who voted on our Twitter poll. There are also a ton of people who don’t read our articles, or don’t care, or just want to know if they are right or wrong. A lot of times, we’re not talking about the same people either.
The only way to really track how people vote is to check their twitter activity. There are some people who write in with things like, “I’m voting for X on Twitter…” It’s important to make sure that you’re looking for the right person.
We’re not looking for the right person. We’re looking for the person in your right mind who is interested in seeing how people vote on Twitter. People who post frequently and regularly with things like “vote for X” or “vote for X” are usually not the people who are looking to see how people vote.
That’s why it’s important to look for the right person. People who are looking to see how people vote are the people who are checking their twitter activity for the person in their right mind (who they believe to be the right person) and then checking the twitter activity of the person in their right mind (who actually is the right person).
Its funny that we see these people as the people who voted for the most, because they don’t always see themselves as the ones who are doing the voting. That is, if you get right down to it, the votes do not always represent the votes that the person in the right mind is actually going to do. In other words, people who are looking to see how people vote are voting for the person in their right mind.
