RadheWhat a shame! The first time I ever realized that I was a podcast guest was on a podcast called Podcasting with Tim Ferriss. I was on a podcast with his guest, Dr. Brian Tracy, and I was very excited to know I was going to get paid. I guess I just didn’t realize how weird the whole thing was.
Podcasting seems to be a weird medium, and I can’t blame podcast hosts for just flat out having no idea what podcasts are for. Podcasting is a weird, strange, funny, weird, and often very frustrating medium. I would probably be on the other side of it, if I was on a podcast. I guess I just assumed that if I was on a show, the host would pay me.
I don’t know what some of the podcast hosts are, but I’ll probably get one.
Podcasting hosts get paid in a variety of different ways. Some hosts get a nice salary that goes on their website or in their blog. Some hosts get to make a show and make all the money that comes from it. Some hosts get to make money from their show. Some hosts are also paid in some other way but I’m not sure if that’s a big deal. Regardless, the podcast owners are generally paid a per-episode per-month salary.
Of course, podcasts are often about being interviewed by other people. That makes it possible for those people to talk about things they may like to discuss. Podcasting has that same effect. And you can imagine that if you’re going to be a guest on a podcast, you might want to make sure that you’re as prepared as you can be, so you might want to check out a few podcasts.
This is a pretty easy problem to solve. People who are paid to discuss topics can get paid by doing exactly what they are told to do. It’s not a terrible idea. Even if you’re not paid to do it, you’ll still get paid.
