For most of us, this is kind of boring, but it’s also important. When you’re working on something new, you have to make sure you have good information about the process. It’s not about being smart at all, it’s about being self-aware and understanding what you are doing.
The same goes for any task, no matter how simple or complex. Its a good idea to have a list of resources to reference when you need to ask a question. This list can be the same as something you look up in a search engine. This is the web, after all, and we all know that there are thousands of pages that are about the same thing that we all just look up.
The point is that you should look up information. In the same way you would use a search engine, you will use your knowledge of what you are looking for. It is only when you try to do something you don’t know what you are doing or you are wrong about it that you will give up and blame someone else. If you have a good understanding of what you are doing, you can make good decisions based on this information.
One of the easiest ways to do that is to get advice from people you trust. It’s not just about seeking out people you trust, you should also seek out people with a good understanding of the area you are in and people with whom you are comfortable working.
The advice I got from a great friend, is that I should always ask for advice from people who have had experience working in the field. This is very important because some of the people I asked for advice were the least experienced people I could ask for advice from. This is not always the case, and it is not always the right way.
